While most of us start out feeling nervous about public speaking, or avoiding it altogether, there are techniques used by professionals that can have you captivating an audience in no time!
After all, being a confident public speaker is essential in the business world. The ability to clearly communicate your ideas and represent your company in a positive light is a crucial component of professional success.
Taught by former CNBC Asia presenter Lisa Oake, this half-day course puts trainees in front of a camera team to develop their ability to speak under stress. The practice speeches and presentations are then played back on a large screen to show participants where they can improve.
Special attention will be given to voice projection, story telling and how to build effective slides and Power Point presentations.
At the end of the session, each participant will receive a thumb drive containing their individual files. All recordings will be deleted from our cameras to ensure complete privacy.
